Red Fox Studio
Red
Red is an artist, teacher, curator and social campaigner. Her paintings are generally surreal and use elements of collage to express complex emotions and situations.Her work is original, challenging and faces life head on.
Her dog however is a big softie called Storm who can usually be found in the business end of the studio (near food) in the adjacent smaller studio with Red and Vicki.
Vicki
Vicki grew up near Penzance in a very "arty" family and moved to Southdown to live on a boat in 2017. Finding retirement dull she decided to start painting again. She and Red shared a studio for several years, teaching and exhibiting together. Through their printing making classes she realised that many other budding and and also experienced printmakers in the area had no access to a quality press and set out to remedy that situation once they found suitable premises.
